Texas Weather!
If you live in north Texas, you understand the bizarre weather that can occur here – especially during the winter months. If you don’t live around here, then you might find it just as bizarre as I do even after having lived here for over 20 years.
In Summary – Friday it was 84 degrees and sunny. Today it’s 33 degrees and raining. Crazy.
We who love the insane Christmas light display season don’t much care for this weather for technical reasons. There is a possibility that our show will be canceled – or limited – every time it rains. Today is no exception to the run. When water gets into places it shouldn’t, the GFCI circuits do their job well – which means no lights on any of those affected channels.
So, we’ll check the system out at about 4pm and let you know here if the show ill go on as planned tonight
Dave and I’d I will be out and about with the folks from www.texaschristmaslights.com this evening (behind the scenes at Frisco Square – anxious to see that) so won’t be here to babysit the lights. We’ll see.
We’ll still be taking your donations to the North Texas Food Bank – show or no show – just look for the collection bin on the front porch.
Stay Tuned!
